Impact of Chennai Flood among Student Victims in Relation to their Psycho-social Well-being.

ABSTRACT
The main objective of this study is to find out the significant difference between male and female higher
secondary school students in their achievement motivation. Achievement Motivation Scale developed by
Prathiba Deo and Asha Mohan (2011) was used to collect the relevant data_ The sample consists of I 03 higher
secondary school students of whom 53 are male and 50 are female_ The data are analysed by 't' test, 'F'
test and Chi-square test. The result indicates that there was significant difference between male and
female higher secondary school students in their achievement motivation.
