Submission Guidelines
Respected Faculty/Scholar,
We would like to invite academicians from various disciplines to contribute research papers and articles for our journal.
Who can publish?
Submissions are invited from research scholars, academicians, teachers, students, and research supervisors.
Procedure of Submitting Articles
- Step 1: Send the article to research@smcedn.edu.in
- Step 2: The received articles will be subjected to initial screening by the editorial and advisory boards.
- Step 3:Having passed this second step, the articles will be submitted to a double blind peer review process. Taking into consideration the recommendations of the reviewers, the editorial board will decide whether the article to be accepted, accepted with revisions or rejected.
- Step 4: The authors will be informed to revise the article according to the recommendations of the review committee. The authors will be intimated the deadline for the final submission. They will have to resend by modifying the article in accordance with the suggestions made by Editorial board within that prescribed time.
- Step 5: Accepted articles will appear in the print version and the online version of the journal.
- Step 6: Attach a certificate of Plagiarism check. The content of your article/paper should not exceed 10% of plagiarism. If it exceeds, your article paper will be rejected. Articles/papers without a certificate of plagiarism will not be entertained.
Demand Draft
In case of payment by Demand Draft (DD), kindly draw the DD in favour of “The Principal,
Stella Matutina College of Education”, payable at Chennai. The DD should be sent by post
along with your full postal address and designation. A publication fee of ₹500 per article will
be collected. Note: DOI registration involves an additional fee. Send the DD by post with
your full address and designation to:

Format for Manuscript Preparation
- Title/Heading: Include the title of the article, name of the author (s), institutional mailing address (if it is a part of a department, please include the name of the institution, city, state, zip code and country) or other affiliation. Please include an e-mail address at which we can contact you.
- Abstract: An informative, comprehensive abstract of 75 to 100 words must accompany the manuscript. This abstract should summarize succinctly the major points of the paper.
- Citations: The format of citations, references and other details should be prepared in accordance with the latest version of publication manual of the American Psychological Association (APA). A list of online resources for APA style can be found at http:www.psych-web/respirce/apacrib.htm.
- Tables and Figures: All tables and figures must be submitted in publication quality. Tables and figures should be prepared on separate sheets at the end of the running text. Indicate in the text where they are to be inserted. Number and type captions at the top of each table.
Manuscripts can also be submitted via email where possible. Indian Educational Researcher that manuscripts be sent as email attachments in one of the following formats: MS word or RTF. All files submitted must be uncompressed. No ZIP, SIT, etc, files will be accepted.
Manuscripts should be accompanied by a letter stating that the manuscripts is original material that has not been published and is not currently being considered for publication elsewhere.

Language
Manuscripts should be typed in English using Microsoft Word.
Font: Times New Roman | Size: 12 pt | Line Spacing: 1.5
Length of paper: The length of the paper should not exceed 6 pages and would be approximately 1500 – 2000 words.
Editorial Policy
Indian Educational Researcher is a research journal that publishes articles related to current issues and debates in the field of national and international education development. All submitted manuscripts will be externally reviewed. Publication decisions are made ultimately by the editorial board. The accuracy of information presented in the submitted articles is responsibility of the author/s. the views presented in the journal are the personal views of the author/s and do not necessarily reflect the views of the journal’s Editorial Board of Stella Matutina College of Education.
